🚫 What to Do About Unfair or False Reviews

Overview

Occasionally, a review may seem unfair, inaccurate, or in violation of Livily’s review guidelines. Livily aims to maintain transparency while protecting hosts from misleading content.

Steps to Take

  1. Stay calm and objective. Respond professionally — your tone matters to future guests.

  2. Check if it violates policy. Reviews can be removed if they include:

    • Discrimination, hate speech, or threats

    • False claims about events that never occurred

    • Private information (emails, addresses, etc.)

    • Irrelevant content not tied to the stay

  3. Submit a review dispute:

    • Go to your Dashboard → HelpOpen Ticket

    • Select “Unfair Review”

    • Provide context and any supporting screenshots or PMS messages

Livily’s Trust & Quality team will review the report and determine if removal or moderation is warranted.

Pro Tip

If the review cannot be removed, post a professional response that provides context. Future guests often look at how hosts handle feedback more than the review itself.
